It’s a typical all-around board at a low price point. The 32’’ width ensures that newbies can balance easily on it. And it’s 6’ thick, which provides enough amount of buoyancy to keep your feet from getting wet.
It’s 10 feet long, which is slightly shorter than a common all-around board, so it should be able to provide better maneuverability. So if you want to take it out to the ocean with waves and winds, it is able to handle them better.
NIXY Newport SUP Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board
If you are not very confident about your balance, you should probably consider getting a wider board, like the NIXY Newport SUP board. At 33’’ wide, it provides better stability than typical 32’’ and 30’’ boards.

It’s 10 feet long and 32’’ wide, a typical size for an all-around beginner paddle board that provides decent stability as well as maneuverability. But it won’t be a fast board. So if you are looking for a fast paddleboard that can be used to win a prize in a SUP event, it might not be a good choice. But it’ll make a great board for most SUP activities.
And it’s pretty lightweight as well. At 17 pounds, most adults should be able to carry it around comfortably. And even though it’s light, it has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. It might not be the best choice for two adults to ride on it at the same time, but it’ll be able to handle an adult and a kid or a dog just fine.
This Roc inflatable SUP also uses military grade PVC and drop-stitch construction for high-level stiffness, it feels pretty rigid when inflated to proper PSI.
Pathfinder Inflatable SUP Board
If you want more of a performance-oriented paddle board, consider Pathfinder.
It’s 30’’ wide, which is narrower than a normal all-around paddle board. It requires beginners to have better balance in order to paddle comfortably on it. But narrower boards usually have faster speed than wider boards.
